To Coach Falcone

This forum you have made available to ALL Amateur Boxing Coaches in America has been a long time coming... If for no other reason than providing an avenue for the least recognized group in amateur boxing (the COACHES), to voice opinions on any issues they deem necessary to further the goals of their boxers. Let us hope that through this web site, someday, any coach who, has spent more time with his boxer than anyone else, can follow his boxer to the ultimate competitions (Pan Am Games & Olympics, for example) and work with him or her at this level. Ultimately, let us hope these same coaches find an OPEN DOOR greeting at these competitions, as well.

The least recognized and most forgotten group in Amateur Boxing is by far the coaches. It's the coaches who are with our athletes day in and day out, involved in endless training sessions. They know the athletes better than anyone. Because they commit as much time as the kids, they should be able to travel to the ULTIMATE competitions and work with their boxers in the competition. In the end, this is in the best interest of the boxer.

Best of Luck to you, Coach Falcone, in this endeavor. I have already started to put the word out about this site to coaches out here in Southern California.

Sincerely,

John Pinto
