If
you haven't formed your own non-profit status with I.R.S. and your
state yet you are missing out on lots of
funding.$$$$$. Maybe you're one of the lucky
coaches and money is easy to find or you're already
in the Bingo business or you run your program off of your lottery
winnings!
If not take the first step to open many $$$$$ doors. Believe it or not its Easy. Yes it does take several months to complete the process. I'm talking specifically about what is called a 501-C-3 non-profit status.Go to your local I.R.S. office and ask for the booklet for filing a non-profit 501-C-3. After you get your status granted by I.R.S. be sure to register with your state too. This 501-C-3 status can allow your organization to receive tax deductible donations from businesses, professionals and possible grants. Bingo is the absolute best way to fund your program if it is legal in your state. You can make $25,000- $50,000- $100,000 -$250,000 - $500,000 and yes even $1,000,000 gross or more per year! I personally have went from $225,000 in my first year to as high as $2,000,000 gross by my fifth year in the bingo business. Now we have 3 casino boats in our area and it has hurt our business but we still manage to gross $1,000,000 per year doing 2 nites of bingo per week. We own the building our 22,000 sq.ft.gym is in and paid it off in just 22 months. The cost $1,500,000.We also owned a beautiful 16 acre training camp for 8 years. We recently sold it for $200,000.Plus we owned a 2 family house for boxers who needed housing for 8 years. We recently sold it for $112,000.The first 14 years of my boxing program was probably the same thing you are going thru. Business and professional donation requests, car washes, candy sales, telemarketing, boxing shows and a lot of out of pocket $$$$ personally. Did I mention the best part? You can legally get paid for coaching if your board members approve it. Yes you'll need a good solid Board of Directors for your non-profit. Not all relatives naturally. Board members should be mostly non related. Just a quick call to your state attorney generals office and you can find out if bingo is legal in your state. If bingo is legal request that a bingo application be mailed to you. You can sell instants sometimes called pulltabs or ripoffs. Instants are like state lottery instant tickets. Lots of money can be made from instant sales. Contact a bingo distributor in your area and believe me they will want to assist you especially when you get your 501-C-3 status. Its not easy but anything worth wild is usually hard work. You can visit http://www.drbingo.com This guy helps with bingo management assistance. Feel free to visit my bingo site http://www.rinksbingo.com Well coaches Good Luck with your fund raising.I hope I've helped a little. This is my Birthday present to you coaches. Today I am 51 and still having fun! Sincerely Coach Falcone |
